A Report from Miracle Ministries
In July 1984, while Vaughan was in Fiji with the Vision Ministry Team, he gave his testimony on how the Lord healed him and saved him from being confined to a wheelchair. Following the meeting, a man in a wheelchair sought him out and requested prayer. He said the reason he was in the wheelchair was that his “hips were loose”!
As Vaughan began to pray, he discovered the man had a large indentation in the back of his head, which indicated that he’d been in a very severe accident. Led by the Holy Spirit, he began to pray for healing and recreation of the damaged spine and hips area. When he had finished praying, the man said, “As you prayed, I felt my pelvis grow back!” Vaughan was astonished to hear that his injuries were so severe, that they had taken part of the pelvic bone to graft into the back of his head, believing he’d never walk again. That was why his hips were loose - part of his pelvis was missing!
Then Vaughan said, “If you felt your pelvis grow back, your hips should no longer be loose, so in the name of Jesus, rise up and walk!” AND HE DID! He walked for the first time in 12 years.
The next night he came to Vaughan for further ministry. He had restricted circulation and no feeling in his scalp, thereby creating a skin problem. On the third night, he was rejoicing in a headache. Feeling had returned to the numb area.
As Vaughan shared this miracle, the crowd began to praise and worship the Lord and in the midst of the anointing of praise, he came forward in his chair and called, “Brother, help me up!” As he rose to his feet, he danced before the Lord, a living testimony to God’s creative miracle power. Glory to God!
