In Faith Church, Monett, Missouri USA, in 1989, a lady received a new heart. Pamela Marie had had Rheumatic Fever when she was 12 and her heart had deteriorated till she was facing heart surgery. She came forward for ministry and Pst. Vaughan encouraged her to relax and just allow Jesus to minister to her. As Pst. Vaughan commanded a new heart in the Name of Jesus she fell out under the anointing. As the Holy Spirit was ministering to her, her chest was vibrating rapidly. The next night she testified that her heart had been healed and she had had the first normal day since she was 12.  Most of Pamela Marie’s life she had to spend resting and was unable to work, that day she had done all the normal housework (she had washed and vacuumed) for the first time in her married life.

 

The congregation was moved to tears as she shared this glorious testimony of her healing.  Then an elderly Pastor stood up and said “I need a new heart too.” As Pastor Vaughan was about to pray for him the Holy Spirit spoke to him and said, “Ask Pamela Marie to pray, as she has received let her now sow healing.” Pamela had never laid hands on anyone before and this Pastor was humble enough to submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit. As she laid hands on him it was as if they both had been hit by high power electricity. As the power of the Holy Spirit flowed they both wept under that anointing and he was wonderfully healed too.   The following is a letter that Pamela Marie wrote to us:  “Praise the Lord. I visited Faith Church in Monett Missouri, on Sunday Evening November 12, 1989. The Spirit of the Lord was there and many miracles were done in God’s Name.  I have had severe heart mumurs since grade school when I had Rheumatic Fever. I had little energy, I was always tired. I had gone to a heart specialist five years earlier. He had told me that my heart was getting gradually worse and in about 10 years I would need artificial valves put in my heart.  I was seeing the specialist because I wanted a child and had been told that my heart probably couldn’t take it. This Doctor however did say that I could probably do it now but not to wait.  The Lord did bless my husband and I and we have a beautiful 4 1/2 year old girl now. I did have much difficulty due to my heart, but the Lord did see me through. But as the Specialist had told me I was getting worse.  Last night at Faith Church my heart was just pounding as I watched the miracles around me. Soon I was up there telling them that my heart valves were scarred and not working well. That I was tired all the time. I was told that I needed a new heart. I had never gone down in the Spirit before. Soon I was melting on the floor. Great sobs came up from inside me that I couldn’t control. A hand was laid on me I could hear a prayer “Don’t fear death. You won’t die.” I felt as though I was warm and vibrating all over.  Other there said that they could visually see my chest rapidly beating. Then I could hear a mans voice, giving a message from the Lord. It sounded like it was God above me saying, “I have come to heal you.” As I opened my eyes a woman was there who had been praying for me through this. She said you have been greatly blessed. I said “Yes I have.” As I got up my husband and daughter came to me. My husband hugged me and said “ How did it feel to be in the arms of the Lord?” I said WONDERFUL!  Praise the Lord!
