Confessions Relating to Self Denial
I desire to come after Jesus, and therefore I must deny myself, and take up my cross and follow Jesus. # Mt 16.24
I do not desire to save my own self-life.
I lose my soul-life for Jesus and will find it. # Mt 16.25

I must run the race in such a way as to receive the prize. I must run as if only one person in this world will receive the prize. I want to receive the prize of an eternal crown. # 1Cor 9.24
